Working for Mildmay

Current vacancies:

Trusts  Fundraising Officer

Salary: £35,000 p.a.

Location: Mildmay Hospital, London

Mildmay is looking for a skilled and motivated Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our Fundraising and Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to play a key role in securing vital funding for our international healthcare projects, while also supporting essential services at Mildmay Hospital in the UK.

The primary focus of this role is to help grow and sustain our international development work, particularly through securing funding for new projects in Uganda and other African countries. This will involve identifying and engaging with charitable trusts, foundations, and other funders. The successful candidate will draft compelling funding proposals, manage relationships with grant-makers, and ensure high-quality stewardship. While international fundraising is the priority, the role will also involve supporting fundraising efforts for Mildmay Hospital’s work in the UK with HIV, substance misuse, and homeless patients.

Please note: This role is only suitable for individuals with proven fundraising experience, specifically in securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience. If your background is in clinical healthcare or unrelated fields, this position is not a suitable match. We kindly ask that you do not apply unless you meet the specific fundraising criteria outlined.

How to Apply:

Please submit your CV and cover letter to Justine Iwala, Human Resources Manager: hr.mildmay@nhs.net.
