Easter: The Resurrection Day of Jesus
The Easter proclamation ‘Christ is truly risen from the dead’ is the most important proclamation of the Church.
The church in the world is all of us together, and the Easter message is given to the whole world. It belongs to the whole world, to each one of us.
So let nobody take away from our hearts the reality of the hope and joy that is the Easter message – that God’s power to make all things new is greater.
Today, let us celebrate with a joy that is real, for hope has been given to us, hope that nobody can take from us. Christ is risen, yes, He is risen indeed!
