All of us at Mildmay Hospital extend our warmest congratulations to our patron, Dame Judi Dench, on her 90th birthday. We are profoundly grateful for her wonderful support over many years.
Beyond her remarkable artistic achievements, Dame Judi has made a lasting impact through her charitable work. Following the sad loss of her husband, Michael Williams, to lung cancer, she became a patron of Women Against Lung Cancer. Her advocacy also spans other important causes, from animal welfare to raising funds for the victims of 9/11 and Doctors Without Borders. We are honoured to have her support for Mildmay.
As we celebrate Dame Judi’s milestone birthday, we acknowledge her unparalleled grace, talent, and compassion, which continue to inspire us all. Her legacy, on and off the stage, resonates with so many - including everyone here at Mildmay.

The magnificent acting talent that Dame Judi has shown in performances on stage, television, and film has given pleasure to millions since her professional debut in 1957.
Dame Judi has moved seamlessly between the many genres of the performing arts, amazing us again and again with her range and adaptability. Dame Judi’s monumental achievements have seen her make an inestimable contribution to cultural life.
