Mildmay Hospital is participating in the British HIV Association (BHIVA) Autumn Conference in Bishopsgate, London today.

BHIVA is the leading organisation representing professionals in HIV care across the UK, and its work plays a critical role in shaping HIV healthcare policies and practices. Our team, including CEO Geoff Coleman, Ward Manager Tsedey, Admissions Manager Patricia, and Dr Divyan, are attending the event to share Mildmay’s latest developments in HIV care and rehabilitation services.

Mildmay has had a presence at the BHIVA conferences for many years, showcasing our longstanding expertise in supporting people living with HIV and advocating for their care and treatment at our hospital in Shoreditch. A key part of our engagement is ensuring that healthcare professionals from NHS trusts fully understand the benefits of referring patients with complex HIV-related conditions to our hospital. By doing so, patients can receive the specialised care they need, with excellent outcomes that significantly improve their quality of life. As we connect with fellow professionals and share the impact of our services, the insights gained at this conference help shape the future of HIV care, allowing us to continue providing cutting-edge, compassionate, and inclusive treatment.

Since 1995, BHIVA has been committed to advancing medical excellence in HIV care. As an influential advisory body, BHIVA provides a platform for critical discussions and innovations in treatment and care, while also championing the rights and needs of people living with HIV.

We look forward to working alongside BHIVA in advancing the standard of care for those affected by HIV, with a continued focus on promoting education, awareness, and the eradication of stigma.
