Delayed from November 2021 due to the Pandemic, Mildmay held its Annual General Meeting for 2021/22 today.
With a hybrid Zoom/physically present audience of members, trustees and staff, Mildmay's Annual General Meeting was led by our Chairman, the Very Revd John Richardson, who celebrated the successful operation of our hospital during the pandemic.
Our CEO, Geoff Coleman followed up with an overview of our progress, activities and future plans, with particular focus on the successful implementation of our new Step-Down Homeless Medical Care Pathway and its impact on the charity's success over the last two years. Our members also asked questions before voting on the business items on the agenda, which included the voting on of two new Trustees to the Board.
The AGM was rounded off with a special presentation being
made to a member of staff for their outstanding work developing the Homeless Pathway.
John Richardson presented the Chairman's award to our Registered & Compliance Manager, Teri Milewska, whose insight to identify, and determination to develop this pioneering programme has almost singlehandedly transformed the future direction of the charity and has had such an impact on the
lives of people who are homeless or rough
sleeping.
