Recently, the hydraulic door closer on the glass door leading to our garden was broken, likely due to the door being forced.

Without the closer, the heavy glass door now swings back too far when opened, risking further damage to the frame - and more importantly, creating a hazard for our patients, especially those with mobility issues.

This door offers a route to our peaceful garden, which is often a quiet haven for patients in recovery. Ensuring it functions safely and reliably is important for everyone who uses it.

We urgently need to replace the door closer, repair the door and frame, and cover installation costs.

For these kinds of essential but unbudgeted repairs, we rely entirely on the charitable support of the public - people like you, who believe in the value of safe, dignified care.

If you’d like to help, please consider donating to our Hospital Equipment Fund, which helps us cover the cost of vital improvements to our hospital.

Thank you for supporting the little things that make a big impact.
